SATB is a common voicing of choral music. The meaning comes from the different voicings which include, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. In essence, SATB music is written in four parts. Each voicing part of the SATB score is different but you will find that each voicing within the SATB arrangement is harmonically tied together.
